Saturday. January 25, 2014. The family had resume the weekend routine, a trip to Indigo store… and coffee at Starbucks.
Aside from ukelele I bought, I found this sketchbook called “712 More Things to Draw”. It’s actually just blank pages with sections or full blank page with a small description in the corner of what to be drawn in that page. I promise to myself, I will draw one per day.
The family had a recent trip to Banff last October 2013. Being first time in Alberta, particularly in the Rockies, during the trip we kinda got lost going back home and ended up in Jasper. Here are some of my favourite photos. The rest can be seen in my flickr page.
After the family Christmas holiday at Edmonton last year, on our way back to Yellowknife, I took out my pocket sketch notebook and began doodling. As I doodled, I thought to myself, I should try a haida art. I remembered some of the tips I got from a workshop by Michael Yahgulanaas, to look through the paper, look deeper and see shapes and lines through those threads that makes the paper. So I did. Here were my attempts.
